TINO DE LA HUERTA

Tino De La Huerta (Nogales, Sonora, 1983) is an internationally acclaimed film director and visual storyteller, recognized for his unique cinematic vision and his ability to transform urban realities into narratives of striking aesthetic and emotional power.

In 2013, he received the Best Director award at the Cannes Film Awards for his short film La ira del olvido, establishing himself as one of the most promising emerging voices in Latin American cinema. In 2025, he completed his debut feature film, Clanes de Dios, an ambitious project set in Spain’s urban underworld, envisioned as the foundation of a larger narrative universe with strong international potential.

Throughout his career, Tino has collaborated with some of the world’s most influential brands —Nike, Coca-Cola, Red Bull, GMC, Amnesty International, Chelsea FC, La Liga, and Google— crafting a visual language that seamlessly blends poetic depth with raw realism.

He studied Economics at Bocconi University in Milan and later pursued Media Studies at The New School in New York, where he also worked at VICE Media. Tino went on to found the production company KIDS in Mexico, which he directed until its sale. He is currently based in Madrid, Spain, where he continues to develop his career in both film and advertising with a global vision.
